The Taste of Place dives into an interesting phenomenon us humans partake in, but may not notice. The concept of terroir is interesting as it doesn’t have the same foundation it once did. Terrior, or, “taste of place” means food coming from and being produced locally and the desire behind that. In modern times the concept loses its value because food products travel thousands upon thousands of miles to then make that favorite local “traditional” meal. We can all think of a food that you think highly of due to it being from a specific region, but its up to us individually to decide how passionate we are knowing our food items come region specific instead of just being corporate gain.
